The Hound of the Basker-spills?
Huh? My partner is a big Tour fan, gets up early to watch, then she watches replays later. No one thinks those many falls were an entertaining thing. They were apparently caused by a combination of rain and a newly re-paved road that had not yet been worn enough to provide grip.
Ah I get it. An obscure reference to a BBC tv show.
Early in the race, Lissa noticed that there was a rider named “Reichenbach”. “If he crashes,” she said, “it would be ‘Reichenbach Falls’!”
