ah, you’ve gotta love the economist…though they sometimes seem a bit out of touch with american cultural trends, their tone and use of language always draws me in.
for instance, in the publication’s endorsement of Obama, the editors wrote about Mcain’s inept take on the financial crisis in nearly poetic terms –
“he has seemed all at sea, emitting panic…”
that’s cool.
