You and your “research” just leads me to do some, and I’ve spent about ten minutes trying to find what percent of Canadian crude oil/petroleum product exports go to the U.S.
Sure looks like Canada is setup for a nasty ripple effect from a U.S. economic downturn, but I can’t find a percentage (although we know it’s gotta be large), and it’s time for bed. I do see that the Canadian trade picture is already being affected.
“Even though Canada is relatively immune from the debt crisis, the nation relies on the U.S. to buy virtually all of its oil exports.”
