A couple of pieces worth reading in the morning paper by my colleagues on subjects of personal interest:
- Mike Coleman on the political realities underlying the energy grandstanding coming out of Washington
- Susan Stiger on the virtues of growing and eating locally
Thanks.
Coleman’s article was useful to me personally.
As to farming, I am already doing a bit of it but would not recommend that someone try to make a living by being a farmer. Like being a teacher, you just do not get enough income for the amount of work that you do.
Is farming a more viable occupation in other countries? If so, which ones?
