Wet up north, dry down south. To first order, a classic La Nina winter, except that this is a pretty piss-poor La Nina – late to the party and no great shakes once she finally got here.
you could say the same about last year’s El Nino. Minor at best, but lots of rain for the southern states and we were dry as a bone in the northern Rockies (I was in western MT at the time)
