When you hear Harry Shearer’s real voice, which Simpsons character does he most remind you of?
Derek Smalls
Smithers. (Has the Smalls character ever been featured on the Simpsons?)
Smithers was my vote, too. And no, I don’t think Derek Smalls ever appeared on the Simpsons.
Wait! I take that back!
There apparently was an appearence by Spinal Tap in a Simpsons episode. I’ve always had a hard time defining “postmodern,” except by reference. This clearly is postmodern.
Jeez, I can’t believe I missed that one. But I’ll stick with Smithers, as the Smalls British accent would take it out of the running even if it was otherwise a better match (which I don’t think it is anyway).
