I think the global warming nonsense the commenter is refering to is not that fact that temperatures are increasing, which is what you cite in your links, but that the increase is not part of some natural climatic cycle (that occurs in cycles longer than the ~140 years we have been recording temps) and instead is caused by man. How can anyone look at a couple hundred years of data at best, and attribute a cause to what they see when the scope of what they are studying exists on a timeline of millions of years?
